Our MissonThe mission of Quilts for Veterans.MN is to cover local service members and veterans touched by war with “Quilted Hugs of Gratitutde”. Quilts are awarded to veterans from all branches of the U.S. Military from all conflicts at no cost to the veteran; providing quilts that are warm, comforting and healing.
A “Quilted Hug of Gratitude” is our way to provide veterans who have been touched by war with a quilt that says “thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor” in serving our nation.
Quilts for Veterans.MN is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is modeled after the Quilts of Valor Foundation (QOVF). Quilts for Veterans.MN is 100% donation funded.

Featured Recipient
In February 1952, Don. received a letter from “Uncle Sam” stating, “Your friends and neighbors have selected you to serve in the United States Army”. His wish was to travel to Germany but his permanent station was in the 84th Tank Battalion, Fort Knox, KY as a Tank Crew Member Instructor for two years. He was enlisted from 1952-1954 during the Korean Conflict. He was discharged in 1954 and received his honorable discharge March 31, 1960 as Cpl (E-4) ER 55-228-359 Armor, USA
This wonderful veteran (my father), passed away in 2025.
